Young George, affectionately known to us as 'YG'  is
a beloved East Freo neighbourhood bar & restaurant
with a focus on creative flavourful food by awarded Chef owner Melissa Palinkas.
We love local and champion all things WA especially local growers and producers.
Waste is something we really dislike and do our best to utilise all of everything in the both the kitchen and the bar.

Built in 1905 and starting life as a general store the venue itself feels like it has graced George Street forever.
It has a bright and airy floorspace and an epic lesser-known cellar downstairs which is perfect for private parties & group bookings.
